Secure My Founding MembershipAn integrated experience designed to help you think clearly, interpret institutional complexity, and remain connected to women who understand the weight of leadership.
One guided monthly conversation with Dr. Nicole R. Robinson and the full membership community.
A smaller, confidential peer-advisory space aligned with your leadership role or the role you are preparing to enter.
Meaningful connection, continued conversation, resources, and recordings between live gatherings.
Weekly intelligence on leadership, governance, organizational culture, and institutional dynamics.
You make decisions that affect institutions, teams, careers, communities, and families. Because you are capable, thoughtful, and steady, people often assume that you do not need support yourself.
The Black Leadership Circle™ interrupts that assumption. This is a confidential place to speak without performing, reflect without being rushed, and receive support without first proving that you have earned it.
You are allowed to enter a room without being responsible for holding it together.
Every member participates in the full Circle and is placed in the Leadership Councils group that best reflects where she currently leads or the role she is preparing to enter.
For faculty and professional staff building readiness, institutional fluency, and discernment.
For chairs, directors, and academic unit leaders navigating peer leadership, culture, accountability, and constrained authority.
For deans and interim deans leading through governance, executive expectations, organizational culture, and institutional change.
For presidents, provosts, vice presidents, cabinet leaders, and chief officers carrying enterprise-level responsibility.
Each month centers on one consequential leadership question and moves through four stages.
Identify the decision, tension, or pattern requiring your attention.
Explore what is shaping the situation and your response.
Consider a different interpretation, boundary, choice, or course of action.
Choose one meaningful next step without requiring everything to be resolved.
What happens when competence quietly becomes permanent responsibility?
Where does leadership responsibility end and overfunctioning begin?
How do you remain rooted when an institution projects assumptions onto your leadership?
What becomes possible when you acknowledge that a chapter is becoming too small?
This is not a networking group, mastermind, or therapy. It is a confidential leadership and reflection community built around honesty, counsel, and meaningful movement.
I created this space because I know what it means to be the person everyone expects to remain steady.
Across more than two decades in higher education, I have served as a faculty member, senior administrator, executive leader, and trusted advisor to leaders navigating complexity and institutional change.
Black women leaders are often given responsibility without refuge, visibility without protection, and expectations without a place to put down the weight.
The Black Leadership Circle™ is the room I believe we deserve: thoughtful, confidential, intellectually honest, and deeply human.
