Each month centers on one consequential leadership question and moves through four stages.

The Questions We Carry
Conversations may explore questions such as:
What happens when competence quietly becomes permanent responsibility?
Where does leadership responsibility end and overfunctioning begin?
How do you remain rooted when an institution projects assumptions onto your leadership?
What becomes possible when you acknowledge that a chapter is becoming too small?

Why I Created This Space

I created this space because I know what it means to be the person everyone expects to remain steady.
Across more than two decades in higher education, I have served as a faculty member, senior administrator, executive leader, and trusted advisor to leaders navigating complexity and institutional change.
Black women leaders are often given responsibility without refuge, visibility without protection, and expectations without a place to put down the weight.
The Black Leadership Circle™ is the room I believe we deserve: thoughtful, confidential, intellectually honest, and deeply human.

Black women preparing for and serving in formal leadership across higher education, including future leaders, chairs, deans, senior administrators, and executive leaders.
What are the Leadership Councils?
A smaller, confidential peer-advisory space within the Circle where you gather with Black women navigating similar levels of leadership responsibility.
Why am I paying before September 1?
Your payment reserves your place at the Founding Member rate and covers your first membership cycle beginning September 1. Before opening day, you will complete onboarding and indicate which Leadership Councils group best reflects your current role or next level of leadership.
What if I miss a live gathering?
Recordings are uploaded to the private member community so you can revisit the conversation when your schedule allows.
