Why The Circle

Eventually, everyone begins to assume that you do not need support yourself.
The Black Leadership Circle™ was created to interrupt that assumption. This is a confidential place to speak without performing, reflect without being rushed, and receive support without first proving that you have earned it.

Why I Created This Space

I created this space because I know what it means to be the person everyone expects to remain steady.
Across more than two decades in higher education, I have served as a faculty member, senior administrator, executive leader, and trusted advisor to leaders navigating complexity, transition, and institutional change.
I also know that Black women leaders are often given responsibility without refuge, visibility without protection, and expectations without a place to put down the weight.
The Black Leadership Circle™ is the room I believe we deserve: thoughtful, confidential, intellectually honest, and deeply human.

Who is The Black Leadership Circle™ for?
The Circle is for accomplished Black women leaders across higher education, nonprofit organizations, corporations, entrepreneurship, public service, and other complex leadership environments.
Do I need to be in transition to join?
No. Some members will be navigating transition, while others need a steady place to process the leadership role they currently hold.
Can I join at any time?
Yes. Each monthly theme stands alone, so you can enter whenever the current question feels relevant.
What if I miss the live gathering?
Session recordings are uploaded to the private community so you can revisit the conversation when your schedule allows.
Is The Circle therapy?
No. The Circle is a facilitated leadership, reflection, and personal-development community. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or clinical mental-health treatment.
What is the investment?
