Reimagine Higher Education

Leadership Labs for Reimaginative Leaders

Practical working sessions for those leading higher education through complexity, disruption, and change.

Higher education is being reshaped by shifting enrollment, financial pressure, technological change, political scrutiny, changing expectations of work, and renewed questions about its public value.

Meeting this moment requires more than managing what already exists. It requires leaders who can read institutional complexity, mobilize people, question inherited practices, and build practical responses for what comes next.

Summer and Fall 2026 Leadership Lab Series
The Work of Reimagination

Leadership Is Where Reimagination Becomes Possible

Institutions do not change simply because new ideas are introduced. Change depends on leaders who can understand the system, navigate competing interests, create clarity, and move people toward meaningful action.

Each Leadership Lab focuses on one practical capacity leaders need to guide higher education through what is changing while helping shape what comes next.

A Working-Lab Experience

Every Leadership Lab Includes

These are not passive webinars or generic leadership presentations. You will work with a real challenge from your own role, team, or institution.

01

A Real Leadership Challenge

Bring an active team, leadership, or organizational issue into the lab.

02

A Practical Diagnostic

Move beneath the visible symptoms to understand what is shaping the problem.

03

Higher Education Frameworks

Apply tools designed for the realities of academic organizations.

04

Guided Working Time

Use structured exercises and facilitated reflection to advance your work.

05

An Implementation Blueprint

Leave with a practical plan you can begin using immediately.

Each lab also includes live virtual instruction, downloadable tools and workbooks, interactive exercises, and 30-day access to the session recordings.

Lab 01 · July 2026

Leading Complex Teams

Strengthen the human and organizational capacity required to move change forward.

Higher education’s next chapter will not be built through strategy alone. It will depend on teams that can work through ambiguity, difference, competing priorities, communication breakdowns, and institutional pressure.

Leading Complex Teams is a three-session working lab for academic leaders navigating a real team, department, or organizational challenge.

You will examine the dynamics beneath the visible problem, identify the people and conditions shaping it, and develop a practical Leadership Reset Blueprint you can begin implementing immediately.

Lab 02 · August 2026

The 90-Day Leadership Cycle

Create a focused 90-day leadership cycle around what you are ready to begin, strengthen, or move forward.

A meaningful 90-day cycle does not only begin when you enter a new position. Leaders begin new cycles whenever they launch an initiative, assume responsibility for a new team, introduce a strategic priority, restructure an area, inherit a complex challenge, or decide that the way they have been working must change.

The 90-Day Leadership Cycle is a three-session working lab designed to help you define what this next leadership period requires, understand the institutional environment surrounding the work, establish clear priorities, and build a disciplined 90-day implementation plan.

You may be stepping into a new role—or beginning a new chapter within a role you have held for years. In either case, the lab will help you move beyond reacting to immediate demands and intentionally organize the next 90 days around the work that matters most.
